The Parks & Recreation Department is proposing a new ordinance to prohibit the use of tobacco products in public parks and recreation areas. In July, 2014, staff conducted a survey of residents and found strong support for banning the use of tobacco products in local parks. If this ordinance is approved, Yountville will join many other municipalities in California who have enacted similar restrictions.

Click here to read the full informational staff report and recommended ordinance presented to the Town Council on January 6, 2015.   The Town Council will be considering this ordinance at their January 20, 2015 meeting.  All comments will be compiled and provided to the Town Council for consideration.

We want to know what you think. Join the discussion by responding to the questions below. SpeakUp, Yountville!
